Paid job lists and freelance marketplaces
One listing on Relocate.me’s home page was not a job but a paid list of “visa sponsorship and remote tech jobs” from a third party, and it was left out. Several remote ads on We Work Remotely came from talent marketplaces such as Toptal and A.Team, which place independent contractors with clients rather than employing them. Ads on that board could not be opened individually for this check, so none is listed here.
None of the ads above mentions a fee to the applicant. In Germany, Canada and Japan the employer’s role in the permit process is set out on the official pages linked in the directory.
